As a framework to structure the breadth, depth and order of our instructional activities for SuperScoot, we aligned our materials with the different levels of Bloom's Mastery Learning. By moving to the higher levels of the taxonomy, students become more knowledgeable & skilled to meet the learning objectives.

To facilitate second-language acquisition of students, we applied the information-processing approach to cognition by F. Philip Rice and Kim Gale Dolgin, which emphasizes the progressive steps that take place when someone receives, perceives, remembers, thinks about and utilizes information.
